I was extremely uncomfortable and I could manage it somehow though I felt bad. This recent period was absolute nightmare. I was suicidal. I was scared to death of an important appointment to the point I wished I wouldn't wake up the night before the appointment and thought of the content of my cabinet.

Three days ago I started DHEA prescribed by my endo for the milder period symptoms. She thinks the low testosterone and DHEA might have caused this along with my general tiredness, anxiety, lack of energy and many other symptoms. Might this help me?Ninanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7780625537812809359.post-37481061968968622972015-12-18T19:05:33.256-08:002015-12-18T19:05:33.256-08:00I seem to have been living with this since I was i...I seem to have been living with this since I was in my teens, even spending time in the ER when that time came, not knowing what was taking place. If I was going crazy, and losing my mind, and the intense pain that came with it. I still live with this, and am not taking anything for it. My Dr. has said now, that I have breast Fibrosis, and that it is possible that it is caused by PMDD. The pain in my breast is increasing each month, to the point of waking up in the middle of the night from the pain, and I become extremely warm, my neck is on fire. I thought recently I could be going through early menopause. The Dr. says No. Although he has diagnosed me with PMDD, this does not seem to be a rather pressing issue to him, and would only like to suggest anti-depressants. I can not take birth control as it makes me "go crazy". I am to scared to take anti-depressants. I used to take a serotonin substitute found at GMC and they recalled it. Is anyone aware of something that may be worth trying, for someone who is really scared of medication, and really tired of "going crazy"?unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07445098508240296142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7780625537812809359.post-13021932195587842382015-11-19T09:00:00.473-08:002015-11-19T09:00:00.473-08:00This is the most comprehensive and medically compl...This is the most comprehensive and medically complete article I have ever read concerning PMDD. To date, no such pill exists, though many claim to do just that. It all comes down to each woman's hormonal cycle is different, even from month to month, and so it's impossible for a one-size-fits-all pill to account for all the differences between women and within women from Day 1 to Day ??. The best we can hope for is to find the right combination of treatments for our individual needs. I've avoided birth control because I can't handle the hormones...I go "crazy". But is there a birth control that makes you feel like your follicular phase self the whole month? That would be great! I don't know how I would live without it. I have enough trouble functioning four times per year with my period and pms (or pmdd-I am still researching it to find out if I truly have it or not). I feel like I am 2 personalities (my usual one and the one who gets her period). The usual is very sweet and quiet. She is not at all interested in sex and is nonconfrontational. The other is the exact opposite- moody, horny, and extremely difficult to control.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
